Queen Camilla uses ‘one of the best and easiest ways’ to look younger

Published

on

Skin expert and founder of the WOW Facial, Claire Williams, talked to Express.co.uk about the beauty rituals Queen Camilla may follow to look younger. She started by saying that “it is easy to write off Camilla’s glowing skin as the result of pure luck in the genetics departments”.

However, the expert claimed there are also a number of factors that come into play to achieve that youthful look.

“As well as undergoing beauty treatments and procedures, Camilla’s flawless appearance could also be due to a rigorous skincare regime, balanced diet and sunscreen,” Claire claimed.

The Queen Consort is believed to follow a varied and healthy diet in the Palace and she may consume organic products mostly, just like King Charles.

King Charles, who has been a passionate advocate of environmental causes for years, has his own organic farm and years ago he founded Duchy Originals, an organic food and drink brand.

The Queen Consort may also follow a rigorous skincare routine in the morning and at night. The recommended nighttime skincare routine for over 60 consists of washing the face with a gentle cleanser and warm water while using a soft cloth.

It is also recommended that women exfoliate once a week and use anti-ageing moisturisers and serums before going to bed.

Camilla may also wear sunscreen on a daily basis, even during the winter months as it is “one of the best — and easiest — ways to protect your skin’s appearance and health at any age”, Hopkins Medicine explained. “Used regularly, sunscreen helps prevent sunburn, skin cancer and premature ageing.”

Claire also said that Camilla is “known for using organic products and bee venom for naturally younger-looking skin”.

DON’T MISS:

In 2010 the monarch admitted that she had tried beauty treatments with bee venom, which consist of using bee poison on the skin to penetrate wrinkles.

Skincare guru Deborah Mitchell explained: “It works to control the facial muscles and tightens, firms and lifts them, as well as moisturises the skin.”

She told the Daily Mail: “The bee venom is also good for providing an instant anti-ageing effect and leaves the face looking naturally younger. Queen Camilla only uses quality organic products.”

Queen Camilla reportedly quit smoking in 2001 thanks to health guru Mosaraf Ali, which also helped to improve her overall skin appearance and health.

Skincare expert and aesthetic practitioner at Centre for Surgery Carrie Hancox commented on the beauty routines that other royals, including the Princess of Wales or Meghan Markle, may follow to look younger.

Meghan and Kate are both in their 40s and “have lovely skin, so they have been taking care of themselves”, the expert said. Carrie claimed that “to achieve this beautiful youthful skin that they have they most likely take a holistic approach”.

“Various treatments they might have had to get this skin quality would be laser skin facials like Fotona4D, micro needling radio frequency like Morpheus8, in addition to good medical grade skincare along with a healthy lifestyle, good diet, no smoking and generally looking after the body,” she suggested.

Uniqlo’s £25 ‘super comfortable’ dress hailed ‘perfect for summer’

CHANNEL TODAY BROADCASTING CORPORATION

Summer is just around the corner, with many people already planning their wardrobes to remain cool yet stylish when the temperatures rise. Shoppers at Uniqlo believe they have discovered the “perfect summer dress”, available in six different colours.

The Ultra Stretch AIRism Dress (Sleeveless) is currently among the top bestsellers for the Japanese retailer. It is priced at £24.90 and is available in sizes XXS to XL. Customers can select from dark brown, off-white, black, yellow, green and blue.

The dress is made from Uniqlo’s AIRism fabric, which promises “stay fresh comfort” and “quick-drying technology “.

It also boasts “ultra stretch fabric” and side seam pockets. Uniqlo’s product description states: “Flattering fit-and-flare silhouette. Versatile crew neck design is easy to layer. Contoured, fit-and-flare silhouette. Longer length creates a sophisticated impression.”

Numerous customers who have bought the dress have been impressed. One remarked: “I now have 3 of these dresses in different colours. So versatile and a great dress for holidays. Lightweight and any creases fall out after unpacking.”

“Easy to wash and quick to dry. Great dress for the price. I’m a size 10/12 but I’m 32G bra size. I find the L is the best fit on me, the M fits but is snug on the bust.”

Another shopper noted: “I struggle so much to find dresses being only 5ft! The length is great. Lovely colour and has pockets! Perfect for summer!” Someone else commented: “Very easy to wear Summer dress. Great stretch fabric. Super comfortable. Side pockets always a plus in a dress and beautiful colour.”

A fourth wrote: “Very versatile dress. Dress it up or wear as it is. Extremely comfortable to wear.”

Despite the glowing feedback, certain shoppers discovered that the colours appeared quite different once seen in person. One remarked: “A lovely, comfortable dress that’s perfect for everyday wear or travel.

“Unfortunately, the yellow colour looked different in person than in the photo. It had more of a beige/grey undertone and looked a bit washed out, instead of a nice, vibrant lemon yellow. I’ll probably order it again in a different colour.”

Another added: “I have several colours of the dress. My review here refers only to the brown colour – it has a very strange, orangey-red undertone. I was expecting a chocolate brown. It’s much more reddish, which detracts from the perceived quality and appearance for me.”

One further shopper felt the bodice was too fitted for their frame, prompting them to opt for a larger size.

Uniqlo is not the only high street retailer stocking sleeveless midi dresses perfectly suited to the warmer months. Next offers a Navy Blue Scoop Back Jersey Maxi Dress for £20.

It is available in sizes XS to 2XL and is crafted from 95% cotton. Marks and Spencer, meanwhile, stocks a Jersey Ribbed Midi Drop Waist Dress for £28, ranging from sizes six to 24 in petite, regular and tall lengths.

‘I have almost every colour’ of ‘comfy’ £45 Skechers sandals now £18

Shoppers are being alerted to an offer that means a highly popular pair of Skechers sandals, which would be ideal as holiday footwear, can be secured for £18. The Skechers Womens Go Walk Flex Elsa Cross Strap Sliders have earned acclaim for being ‘comfortable’ and ‘attractive’.

They carry an RRP of £45, but a price reduction at MandM Direct has slashed the cost to £29.99. Yet there’s a method to save even more. This comes through money-saving website TopCashback, where new members who sign up here receive £15 cashback on their initial purchase when spending £15 or above at a participating retailer.

This means that for new members of TopCashback and first-time customers of MandM the sandals work out at £18.01 after cashback (including delivery costs). For existing MandM customers, the cost is marginally higher, working out at £19.72 after cashback.

Just one review has been posted for the slip-on sandals on MandM, where the purchaser simply said they were ‘very comfy’. Meanwhile, over on the Skechers website, where the sandals retail at £45, they boast an average rating of 4.5 out of five from 97 reviews.

One purchaser said: “I wear this pretty much year round or any of the Goga Mat slides. I have almost every colour in these. I match to what I’m wearing. Wearing Skechers seems to have controlled my Plantar fasciitis. My old pair I have almost worn thin and I use them as slippers in the house, and still the top fabric looks great.”

Another reviewer shared: “These sandals are very attractive and comfortable. I took them on my trip to Greece”, reports Wales Online. A third commented: “Great to jump into, comfortable, love to wear as slippers and sandals!” While another simply stated: “Love them.”

While the overwhelming majority of reviews have been favourable, a couple of drawbacks highlighted included the fit being ‘too loose’ and ‘there just wasn’t enough support in the heel area’.

Amazon is another retailer offering a wide selection of sandal options. For those who favour flip flop-style footwear, there is currently a deal on The Kidmi women’s sport flip flops, reducing the price from £23.99 to £18.03. They feature a timeless, minimalist design that pairs effortlessly with dresses, shorts, or casual outfits.

Elsewhere, shoppers seeking more of a platform may be drawn to River Island’s Gold Ring Buckle Wedge Sandals. However, these come with a slightly heftier price tag of £42.

For those who live in jeans, it can be tricky to know what to wear when the weather warms up. Now, Marks & Spencer shoppers think they’ve found the solution in the form of a £28 pair of chinos.

The retailer’s Cotton Rich Straight Leg Chinos come in a variety of colours ranging from pink shell, thyme and sage, through to darker and more neutral options such as beige, navy and black. Available in UK sizes 6-24, such is their popularity the trousers are already sold out in some options.

In true M&S style, fashion fans can also select their perfect length when buying the trousers as there’s a variety for shoppers to choose from, including extra short, short, regular and long. The trousers have been rated on Marks & Spencer’s website over 1,500 times, boasting an impressive review score of 4.2 out of five stars.

If M&S’ chinos don’t suit, then elsewhere on the high street we’ve spotted Roman’s £30 Cotton Stretch Chino Trousers which come in a variety of wearable colours. Boasting a near-perfect review score of 4.8 out of five stars, it’s safe to say the online retailer’s fans are impressed.

Over at Next, the Tan Brown Straight Leg Chinos with Side Stripes cost £39 and also come in a range of leg lengths. Featuring a chic stripe detail that would pair nicely with a crisp white shirt, they’d work as well for the office as they would for weekend plans.

M&S’s affordable £28 chinos have amassed plenty of fans. One said: “These cotton chinos are great, best trousers I’ve bought in a long time.”

Meanwhile, another raved: “Nice quality and colour. Been looking around for ages. Fitted nicely on your bottom and top of thighs.”

It’s worth noting this shopper did continue to suggest a minor improvement for the design, writing: “I would have preferred slightly more fitted on the lower leg like M&S slim fit jeans. Otherwise very happy with purchase.”

Despite this, plenty of others had only positive things to say. Another reviewer wrote: “Good quality base trousers to dress up or down as you need.”

Someone else said: “Great fit, slimming and very smart looking. Had bought in the stone colour and went back online and ordered other colours the next day.”

Two further reviewers rated the trousers for summer and holidays, with one leaving a review which reads: “Good fit and well made. Bought for a holiday in Majorca and wore them for the flight. They were comfortable and travelled well.”

Someone else said: “Summer alternative to denim jeans for smart casual wear. Bottom of legs a bit disappointing due to stitching, good fit.”
